HOW TO REACH US
The reserve lies on the seafront at Priolo Gargallo. By following the directions here or using a Sat-nav, you’ll reach the nature reserve easily.
From Catania
Follow the road SS 114/E45 towards Siracusa, take the exit for Priolo/Cava Sorciaro, then follow the signs for Priolo Gargallo and take Via del Castel Lentini in the direction of Marina di Priolo. Follow the road for about 3 kms, take the left exit at the roundabout, then at the junction Penisola Magnisi/Siracusa take the right turn and follow the road for about a kilometre until you reach the main entrance of the reserve.
From Siracusa
Take Via Scala Greca out of Siracusa heading north towards Priolo Gargallo and take the road SP55 following the signs for “Saline di Priolo/Penisola Magnisi/Thapsos”. Take the road that runs along the beach towards the Magnisi Peninsula until you reach the main entrance of the nature reserve, which lies beyond the ENEL electricity plant.
